This is the story of the modern state of Israel - 71 years ago the state of Israel was established. After accepting the United Nations partition plan, the first thing we had to do was defend ourselves against the combined attacks of 6 Arab armies. In Israel the Memorial Day for the Fallen Soldiers and Victims of Terrorism and the Independence Day are hours apart taking us from the grief for the people who gave their lives for our country to the joy of celebrating the State of Israel!
